The Woodlands Complex and Sensory Needs Curriculum is designed to be flexible, so that every pupil’s needs are at the centre of all decision making, planning and assessment. It recognises the complex interaction between our pupils’ physical, sensory, communication and learning abilities that affects the progress they make. It gives practitioners the ability to focus the pupil’s daily timetables around their individual needs, taking into account unique starting points, preferred learning styles and motivational activities.
