Teaching Assistant - Grade C (two fixed term, one temporary and one part-time mornings until 1pm)

Salary Scale Point - 14-18

Actual Salary - £11,312 to £12,172 (pro rata for the morning part-time post)

Monday to Friday - 28.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Registered Care Officer (RCO) - to start as soon as possible.

The Wood View Short Break Service, is a registered Children’s Home, providing high standards of care and support to children from Plymouth and beyond. Many of the children who come to Wood View have complex care needs and we support them to enjoy the company of their peers and develop their social skills in a safe environment.

Wood View accommodates children between the ages of 3 – 18, offering overnight accommodation for up to 6 children and young people at one time. We also provide day care support for children as part of a transitional programme.

We currently have a vacancy for a Residential Care Officer based in our state of the art building in Whitleigh. Our links with Woodlands Special School gives us access to superb facilities including: outdoor play areas and gardens, a fully-hoisted dance studio and a stunning hydro pool.

 

Registered Care Officer (RCO) - Grade E

Salary Range - £22,401 - £24,657 pro rata (night working enhancement between 8:00pm and 6:00am)

Working pattern - 32 hours per week on a two week rolling rota, working at least 1 weekend per fortnight.

We welcome applications from students, professionals and those who wish to volunteer at the school.

For work experience and volunteering in class, or with our health professionals, we need to assess if we have suitable opportunities.
